Steps To Becoming A New Patient

Firstly, you'll initiate your journey by scheduling a consultation with us! During this initial appointment, you'll discuss your health history, concerns, and goals. Following this, the next step involves drawing laboratory tests to assess your current hormone levels accurately.

On your second visit, your lab results will be reviewed by a provider. They will carefully analyze the data to determine the best course of action for your specific needs. This includes recommendations regarding hormone dosing and frequency of administration. While most patients opt for weekly intramuscular injections, there are also pellet options available, allowing for a tailored approach to suit your preferences and lifestyle.

When Will I Start to Feel Better?

Typically, around the third week of injections, many patients begin to notice positive changes in their overall well-being and energy levels. However, if you don't experience the desired improvements, rest assured that your provider will be readily available to make any necessary dose adjustments, ensuring that your hormone therapy is both safe and effective throughout your transformative journey to better health.

Will I be able to do my own injections?

Once you and your provider have settled on a dosage that feels right for you, you can conveniently have your hormone medications sent to your home. It is better to manage patients in office until they feel positive results. This way if they have any questions or concerns they can be addressed in office.

Bioidentical Hormones

Bioidentical hormones are molecules that are naturally derived from plants. They are exact replicas of hormones produced in the human body and are custom-made by a compounding pharmacy. Bioidentical hormones are generally more readily absorbed and utilized by the body than synthetic hormones.  Synthetic hormones are man-made molecules created in a laboratory, mass-produced, and sold as generic products available over-the-counter or by prescription.

Symptom Resolution and Quality of Life Improvement

The ultimate goal of hormone replacement therapy is to alleviate your symptoms and improve your overall well-being. Numbers alone cannot capture the full picture of your overall well-being. By addressing symptoms, we aim to enhance your quality of life and restore balance in areas such as energy levels, mood, sexual function, and overall vitality. Our focus is on helping you feel your best and achieve optimal health and wellness.

Personalized and Holistic Approach

Hormones play a complex role in our bodies, impacting various aspects of our physical and mental health. What may be a normal range for one person may not be ideal for another. Taking a personalized approach allows us to tailor treatment specifically to your needs and address the symptoms that are affecting your quality of life.

Remember, hormone replacement therapy is not solely about reaching specific numerical values but rather about improving your symptoms and enhancing your quality of life. Together, we will closely monitor your symptoms, evaluate your response to treatment, and make any necessary adjustments to ensure that you receive the best possible outcomes from your hormone replacement therapy.

Pellet Implants: Hormone pellets are small, cylindrical implants that are placed under the skin, typically in the buttock area. They slowly release hormones over a period of several months. Pellets provide a consistent hormone level and eliminate the need for daily or weekly administration. However, the procedure for pellet insertion requires a minor surgical intervention.
